Banquet

Last night, the team came together for our end-of-year banquet. One of our benefactors, Michael Bennet, was kind enough to host the event at his beautiful home. Our athletes, and their families and friends were all present for this wonderful event. We had delicious catering, activities and a silent auction. Auction items varied from tickets to the Science Museum to homemade pens crafted by one of our very own rowers - all proceeds went towards the team. Awards were presented, speeches were given and our novice rowers even put on a small talent show. The evening concluded with a slideshow highlighting the best moments of the past year and a farewell tribute to our only senior rower - Nick Pedersen. It was a really nice evening and a great way to reflect on the year as a whole, raise some funding for the team and have a little fun the weekend before WIRA.
