One Fall Regatta Down, One to Go

Last weekend, the crew traveled to San Diego for the 2019 San Diego Fall Classic. Always a fun race, this year did not disappoint. For many of our novice rowers, it was the first time ever rowing competitively, and they couldn’t have had better results to kick off their rowing careers. Both the women and men’s Novice 8’s and the men’s Novice 4+ snatched silver medals. Our women’s Varsity 4+ and both men’s Varsity 4+ boats had tough competition from the California programs but managed a solid result. Both of our men’s pairs did well too, especially for their first time racing in that event. We have made the tough decision to not travel to Orange Coast College this upcoming weekend in order to get in some extra practice for Head of the Harbor that takes place next weekend in Los Angeles!
